About Kaplan's Expert NCLEX Instructor
Patricia Barasch is our expert NCLEX-RN® instructor in the UK. Patricia is a popular teacher at the London Center who provides students with a comprehensive picture of Nursing in the US, the NCLEX exam and vital strategies for success on test day.
Patricia lived and worked in the US for nearly 20 years, she returned to the UK 5 years ago and now works as an RGN in the National Health Service. Patricia knows the key differences between Nursing in the UK and US and her students benefit during their NCLEX exam from this unique insight.

An Introduction from Patricia
“My name is Patricia Barasch and I became a Registered Nurse in the United States, where I lived for almost 20 years. Nursing is my passion—whether in the USA or here in England. I returned to England about five years ago and have since been working in the National Health Service as an RGN.
I know the differences in nursing between the two countries, and I understand what internationally trained nurses want and need in order to be successful in the NCLEX.
